Fuqiao Xue (Simplified Chinese: 薛富侨; Traditional Chinese: 薛富僑; Japanese: シュェ フーチャオ、せつ ふきょう) works for the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), the Web standards consortium. He is based at the China site.
He currently leads the Internationalization Activity that works with W3C working groups and liaises with other organizations to make it possible to use Web technologies with different languages, scripts, and cultures.
Before his current activities, Fuqiao served as Staff Contact in the Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) Working Group, the Devices and Sensors Working Group, and the MiniApps Working Group. He is also a CSS language lawyer and a contributor to free software projects, including GNU and Mozilla.
